During my time at TMU, I took a UI/UX course where I designed a smart home app that catered to individual user needs. Throughout the project, I followed the entire UX process—conducting user research, ideating, testing, and presenting the final design. My focus was on incorporating micro-interactions to enhance the user experience. The primary goal was to tailor the app to individual preferences, moving away from a one-size-fits-all approach. By increasing customization based on users' varying levels of app familiarity, each user could have a personalized screen, either self-customized or auto-suggested based on habits and app behavior.
